It can be divided into TWO types, CA type and C type, according to whether the inner ring has a retaining bracket or not and the cage used.
The CA type self-aligning roller bearing has two small retaining edges at both ends of the inner ring, and no retaining edges in the middle. The cage is a two-jaw integrated structure solid cage, which is generally made of copper or carbon steel. The structure bearing is of large and extra-large size and is widely used.
The inner ring of c-type self-aligning roller bearing does not have large or small side gears, the roller is self-guided, the middle ring is the movable middle ring, and the cage is the steel plate press cage. The roller length of this structure bearing increases, the rated load increases, and it also has higher limit speed and lower friction loss.
Taper bore self-aligning roller bearing
It has the characteristics of cylindrical hole self-aligning roller bearing, but the inner hole is tapered hole, the conventional taper is 1:12, and its model is the basic model of bearing plus K;
But the taper of the 240 and 241 series bearings is 1:30, and the model is the basic bearing model with K30 added after.
Tapered bore bearings may be mounted directly on the tapered journal by nut or on the cylindrical shaft by means of a fixed or shirking sleeve.

This type of bearing is mainly used in hard-to-reach bearing positions, or in cases where non-separated bearings are used, and where maintenance or replacement requires a lot of time and manpower and leads to expensive downtime.

The tolerance
The precision of the self-aligning roller bearing products is P0 and P6, and for the products with special requirements of users, P5 can also be processed, and the tolerance is in line with GB307.1.
Radial clearance
Self-aligning roller bearings have C2, standard (CN), C3, C4 and C5 internal clearance, all in line with GB4604.
For taper hole self-aligning roller bearing, C3 clearance is the standard clearance.
Its numerical value applies to unmounted and unloaded bearings.
Bearings greater than or less than the clearance standard value can also be produced according to customer requirements.
